JOB PURPOSE
If you’re a content creator who knows TikTok, Instagram and social content inside and out, and who wants to create world class content for some of the world’s biggest brands, we want to hear from you!
You’ll love coming up with ideas but more importantly, you will love making them and have the skills and experience to do so.
You’ll be able to create, make and film content that is perfect for the FYP/Discovery Feed and create content for our roster of clients, while having the support of a wider team of creatives, strategy, design and media from DEPT.
This is a very hands-on role. You’ll be confident on camera, and ready and willing to travel. One day you might be filming on location, one day hitting the streets for a mini mic shoot, then filming on set… and everything in between to make content that travels far and wide
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Generate quick, trend-led organic social content ideas that resonate with the clients audience and culture
Shoot and edit short-form videos independently, using tools like CapCut or in-app editors
React rapidly to social trends, creating and posting content within tight timeframes
Collaborate closely with the team and clients, presenting ideas clearly and confidently
Travel to locations for content shoots and brand activations
Manage and utilise a large brand asset library to inspire and support content creation
Maintain brand guidelines while experimenting with creative formats
Embrace a “doer and maker” mindset by prioritising action, ideation, and learning from content performance
Support the production of high volumes of engaging, snackable social content on a daily basis
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Proven social content experience
Passion for TikTok, Reels and short-form video content creation, with hands-on experience editing using apps like CapCut or similar
Ability to generate quick, trend-led, and reactive social content ideas that resonate with Gen Z and wider audiences
Comfortable filming and presenting on camera with confidence and authenticity
Experience managing or creating content for personal or brand TikTok/Instagram accounts as a portfolio alternative
Strong creative instincts combined with a maker mindset, ready to produce and post content rapidly
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple shoots and content trips, including travel to locations like airports and European destinations
High attention to brand guidelines and creative tenets, balancing creativity with strategic brand alignment
Eagerness to learn, experiment, and iterate quickly, embracing a test-and-learn approach to content creation
WE OFFER

WHT DEPT?
We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA.
We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.
At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.
DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION
At DEPT®, we take pride in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We actively seek to recruit, develop, nurture, and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varying skills and perspectives.
Not sure you meet all qualifications? Apply, and let us decide! Research shows that women and members of underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs when they think they may not meet every requirement, when in fact they do. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance to shine.
We also encourage you to reach out to us and discuss any reasonable adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process and your time with us.
